Aquatic Invasive Outreach
Invasive aquatic plants are non-native plants that invade bodies of water and can then thrive and spread, resulting in damage to ecosystems. Prevention is the most effective approach to reducing the threat of aquatic invasive species, Early Detection & Rapid Response (EDRR) is our next best line of defense.
Klamath SWCD on behalf of the Klamath County CWMA was awarded $15,000 in 2024 to enhance public outreach on aquatic invasive species.
