A wildfire can spread very quickly, potentially giving people little time to evacuate to safety.

Klamath SWCD has successfully obtained grants to help our Klamath communities reduce fuels which can help reduce risk of catastrophic wildfires.  We received $250,000 from the Oregon State Fire Marshal's office to help with fuels reduction efforts in the Keno area.
